To remain healthy, your home needs to be comfortable and safe. During the COVID-19 crisis, many families have suffered economic challenges, especially paying their gas and electric bills. Latin Americans for Social and Economic Development (LASED) partnered with DTE to help our neighbors with their utilities during these challenging economic times. DTE has long been an advocate for helping our communities lower their energy bills and aid those who need it. They offer a variety of programs to help keep the power on. LASED is proud to partner with DTE to assist our community with these essential services. Unfortunately, many families who come to LASED for assistance do not have the necessary information about their bills, which can slow the process to get them the help they need. LASED can now facilitate this process and has staff who can help find a suitable plan for you. If you are having difficulty with your energy bill, you can make an appointment at LASED, and one of our Community Navigators will answer questions and assist with the next steps.

Call LASED for an appointment at (313) 554-2025, or call DTE directly at (800) 477-4747.
